Jigsy was relinquished back to the BLM, NOT for anything wrong with the horse, but his previous owner, who adpopted him about 10 months ago, has taken very ill. In having some significant medical issues and unable to care for Jigsy, his weigh has dropped significantly. Health wise he is fine but his weight is down about 125-150 pounds but he is on good hay and grain rations and will be back to normal weight soon!
He is being evaluated now on how much training he has had up to this point but he has been gentled in accordance with BLM standards and is incredibly affectionate. He follows us all over the round pen and arena and is extremely calm.
Jigsy is a big mustang. His height is approximately 15.2 hh and his weight is about 925 pounds…soon to be up to normal weight roughly 1100, for his size.
