The more you know the more you want and in this case one of the missions of Funny Farm Mustangs is educational outreach. There are so many sites with erroneous information pertaining to mustangs and burros, but especially mustangs. Some of the recommended links used by Funny Farm Mustangs, for information and training can be found below. These are well-established sites that promote the adoption process and provide good information for Mustang and Burro owners and those looking to adopt.

• Bureau of Land Management (BLM) – Wild Horse and Burro Program.
• The Mustang Heritage Foundation – The driving force behind the famous Extreme Mustang Makeover.
• The Humane Society Platero Project – A program which Funny Farm Mustangs is in partnership with the Humane Society, to draw out and gentle for adoption, wild burros being held in short and long term BLM holding facilities.  Although the Platero project was successful and has been completed, the Humane Society along with the BLM and Funny Farm Mustangs (among other groups), we continue to support the adoption of Wild Burros.
